a little bit about moormetals :
Hi :) My name is Lara and I'm a Brighton based silversmith/jeweller.
Every piece is a one-off as my brain can't handle making the same thing twice, plus it's way more fun to have unique jewellery. I seem to be fuelled by fire, experimental casting techniques, and designing to work with the material outcomes rather than start with a rigid plan.
Visually I resonate with an amalgamation of fluidity, celtic patterns, rough textures, and religious imagery. My recent collection 'Elarion's Realm' is based off of an internal world about elves living deep in the earths soil. I think silver is magick.
